Catch Up With the Chesapeake Sports Club

The Chesapeake Sports Club held its monthly meeting at the Conference Center. The new slate of officers for the coming year was approved unanimously, with Carolyn Bernard selected as club president. Ed Beard introduced the 87th Legend of Honor, Albert Al Crow. Guest speaker MLB pitcher Rudy May discussed knowing how to win in his presentation. Rudy said an athlete has to love their sport and commit to developing their skills to the fullest. The Jamboree will be April 6th, with Chesapeake's own Michael Cuddyer as the guest of honor.
